Welcome to AcrossMart. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern
your use of the AcrossMart mobile application and website
(collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using our
Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
AcrossMart is operated by AcrossMart Nigeria Limited (RC No.
1946934), a company registered in Nigeria with its registered
office at 65 Rijiyar Zaki Qtrs, Kano, Kano State, Nigeria.
Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, making a purchase, or using any feature of
our Platform, you acknowledge that:

You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms

You are at least 18 years old or have parental consent to use
the Platform

You have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
- You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our
Platform.
Account Registration
Creating an Account
To access certain features of AcrossMart, you must create an
account. When registering, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Keep your password secure and confidential

- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
Account Types
AcrossMart offers different account types:

Buyer Account: For users who wish to browse and
purchase products

Seller Account: For vendors who wish to list
and sell products (subject to additional

Buyer Guidelines
Making Purchases
When making purchases on AcrossMart, you agree to:
- Provide accurate delivery information
- Use valid payment methods that you are authorized to use

Review product descriptions and seller information before
purchasing
- Communicate respectfully with sellers

Accept delivery of purchased items or arrange returns per our
refund policy
Order Confirmation
After placing an order, you will receive a confirmation. This
confirmation does not guarantee availability. If a product becomes
unavailable, we will notify you and process a refund.
Seller Guidelines
Sellers on AcrossMart must comply with additional terms outlined
in our
Seller Terms and Conditions. Key
requirements include:
- Providing accurate product descriptions and images
- Maintaining adequate inventory for listed items
- Shipping products within stated timeframes
- Responding to buyer inquiries promptly
- Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
- Not selling prohibited or counterfeit items
Prohibited Activities
Users of AcrossMart are prohibited from:
- Violating any applicable laws or regulations
- Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent content
- Infringing on intellectual property rights
- Engaging in price manipulation or fake reviews
- Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users

Attempting to bypass security measures or access restricted
areas

Using automated systems to access the Platform without
permission

Selling prohibited items including but not limited to: illegal
drugs, weapons, counterfeit goods, stolen property, and
hazardous materials
Violation of these prohibitions may result in account suspension
or termination.
Refund Policy
Eligibility for Refunds
You may be eligible for a refund in the following circumstances:

Item not received within the estimated delivery window plus 7
days
- Item significantly different from the description
- Item arrived damaged or defective
- Wrong item received
Refund Process

Submit a refund request through the app within 48 hours of
delivery
- Provide photos and description of the issue
- Our team will review and respond within 3-5 business days

If approved, refunds are processed within 7-14 business days
Non-Refundable Items
The following items are generally non-refundable:
- Perishable goods (food items, fresh produce)
- Personalized or custom-made items
- Digital products after download
- Items marked as "Final Sale"
Dispute Resolution
If you and a seller cannot resolve a dispute, AcrossMart may
intervene. Our decision on disputes is final. We encourage buyers
and sellers to communicate and resolve issues amicably before
escalating to our support team.
Limitation of Liability
AcrossMart is a marketplace platform connecting buyers and
sellers. We do not:

Manufacture, store, or ship products (unless explicitly stated)

Guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of items listed
- Guarantee that sellers will complete transactions
- Verify the accuracy of user-provided information
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AcrossMart shall not be
liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or
punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the
specific transaction giving rise to the claim.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we
make changes:

We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page

For material changes, we will notify you via email or in-app
notification

Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes
acceptance of the new Terms
